Ron and Dona Hilkey have graciously sold Adams Lodge Outfitters to us. We are Bruce and Jody Clatterbaugh, neighbors to Ron and Dona for the past 15 years. We own and operate a cattle operation, CJ Slash Commercial Cattle, running our cows and calves on National Forest pasture land. In that capacity we know the Rocky Mountain High Country, the White River Elk Herd, and the use of horses to get the most out of the country. We are proud to accept the reins of Adams Lodge Outfitters, by earned reputation; the best managed outfitting business in the area. Ron and Dona took over the business from their Uncle Bob in 1988, continuing a tradition of good horses, good packing, and reputable outfitting in the Marvine Wilderness. We intend to maintain what they started; we want to earn their reputation. To do that we have plenty to learn, and Ron has offered to help; so we have contracted him for the next several years, thank our luck!
